Godzilla

I had heard a lot of differing opinions on this one but I had to see for myself. I'm a Godzilla fan from way back - Creature Double Feature on channel 56 out of Boston, Saturday mornings in New Hampshire - so, of course I HAD to go.

The acting was okay, Matthew Broderick did a pretty convincing self/project absorbed scientist. Hank Azaria, as usual with all of his roles, was phenomenal. The plot was kinda sketchy, which is okay. I mean, this IS Godzilla, right? 8-) And I can't think of a better place to terrorize than Manhattan, NY.

The Godzilla and baby 'Zillas were great!! Some very comedic moments in the movie if you have an oddly warped mind (which, of course, I do). One of our (the crowd I saw this with) favorite moments was the gumballs in the hallway and watching the baby 'Zillas slide right past where they wanted to stop ... quite the rib tickler. Of course, appropriate heckling from the audience helps. 8-)
